Our pricing is simple, honest, and transparent. We don’t use confusing space on the van pricing models. Instead, we charge only for the time and labour needed to complete your clearance, plus recycling at cost price.
You’ll receive official recycling centre receipts, giving you full visibility and assurance that all materials have been ethically and legally disposed of.
We work hard to reduce the size and weight of each van load by purchasing, reusing, and donating reusable items to local charities, as well as separating scrap metal and appliances for recycling.
This ensures you’re never overcharged, and only pay for whats recycled, not donated or separated.
We’re passionate about recycling and get great satisfaction in re-purposing the items we clear. This is good for the environment and our customers. Our recycling ethos means we spend less on commercial recycling fees, which makes our services cheaper and greener for you. We also purchase good quality antique and branded items.
In the UK we currently throw away 10 million items of furniture every year, and many pieces could be recycled and re-used by someone else.
We will always look to donate all suitable items to a charity. Items need to be in a good resalable condition, and where applicable have the right safety tags.
If you have some valuable items don’t worry, we won’t overlook or de-value them. We buy lots of items from our clients, from singular items to the entire contents of a house. All our valuations are fair and in line with market values.
We’re led by market trends and only buy items of saleable interest that can retail for £100 upwards. This can be anything from antique furniture, paintings, ceramics, and even more vintage and modern items such as rugs, sun loungers, TV’s etc.
This is a great way to offset costs of clearance work and helps simplify the headache of managing multiple contacts or doing yourself. We are of course happy for you to manage any sales of personal items privately and in some instances where it makes more sense financially, we may advise this route.
We donated over 55 tonnes or (8 African Elephants worth) of furniture, clothes, bric a brac, books to local charities in 2023.
